5 Shows To Watch On Netflix This Fall

In all honesty, this month more so than before I have become addicted to Netflix. I mean, obviously I loved it before, but as the nights have began drawing in much quicker, I’ve found myself wanting to sit in bed and watch countless shows and movies even more than I have done all year. Netflix is such a great service and it’s filled with soooooo many shows to pick from (as I’m sure you all know by now.) Today I thought I’d share with you some of the things on Netflix I have been obsessed with this month and last. PS: You may have noticed that my blog has gotten a little makeover. The last few months left me feeling very uninspired with my blog, admittedly I’d been busy but I couldn’t help but feel like something was wrong. Last week I came to the decision that it was my blog template. Whilst it was nice, it was very limiting and not necessarily as colourful and bright as I would have liked.
As a creator I feel it’s extremely important to be 100% proud of your work and that is why I decided to give my blog a completely new look (and I’m already feeling ten thousand times more inspired! I hope you like it too.As time goes on and I fully work my head around my new layout and the different features that come with it, I’ll be introducing some new pages to the blog, including a looks gallery, a shop my instagram page and a whole lot more! You can now click onto my latest Youtube videos and Instagram posts straight from the blog home page. Eeek! I’m excited.Anyway, let’s get on with the post!

Okay so this show is probably my all time favourite show to exist. If you’ve been following me over on Twitter you’d already know this. But for those of you who don’t and/or haven’t heard of Orphan Black let me give you a little insight; Orphan Black is a show starring the incredibly talented Tatiana Maslany. She plays a group of clones who discover each other and work together to find out the purpose of their creation and fight for their safety and freedom…. Sounds a little crazy, right? Whilst it sounds a little complicated – it really is worth watching! (There’s a whole five seasons for you to binge on.)

This is a show Jake and I discovered literally two days ago. The Good Place is a show about a woman who dies and mistakenly gets let into a part of the afterlife created for the kindest, nicest people in the world. A whole bunch of things go wrong and as a result of her actions different disasters happen in the afterlife. So far I have been really enjoying it and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a nice light hearted show to binge on.

Finally! The last season of American Horror Story has been uploaded to Netflix. Season 6 – Roanoke.
Whilst there were definitely some mixed opinions on this series of American Horror Story, I personally loved it. I thought it was amazing how they put a twist on the show. It was so different from what we’d come to expect from AHS and that in itself, for me, made the show a whole lot more interesting. I didn’t try to give too much away there – as it’s really something you should check out for yourself!

I can’t help but feel like this show is the most suited for Autumn? Not because the show itself is remotely Autumnal, it isn’t. I just feel like horror based shows are just something I watch more in the Autumn. Bates Motel is ‘the prequel’ to the film ‘Psycho’ and focuses on the life of Norman and Norma Bates. They are a mother and son who own and manage a B&B; Norman has some psychological issues and his mother is very protective of this… Let’s just say this causes them some issues down the line and it leaves the show filled with lots of intense and exciting scenes.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

This is a show I think nearly everyone will have heard of? If you haven’t, where have you been?! Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a show about a girl called Kimmy who is re-discovering life after being held captive in an underground bunker. It’s a somewhat childish, joyful comedy and again it’s another one I really recommend binge watching during the autumn nights.

These are just a few of the many shows you can check out on Netflix this autumn. Have you got any recommendations? Comment them below!
