A Love For Manchester

It feels like it’s been forever since I wrote a “chatting about life” blog post. I couldn’t tell you how long it’s been exactly. (My birthday…. I think)
Either way, today I wanted to just take a little while to talk about the last couple of days. Specifically I wanted to discuss what I got up to, where I went, what I ate.. you get the idea!

As you may have guessed by the title of this blog post I spent the last couple of days in Manchester, shopping, eating and generally sightseeing.
Coming from a town on a much smaller scale than Manchester it’s nice to visit the city for a combination of different reasons; there’s a million more shops, the buildings are prettier and the atmosphere is completely different. I’ve actually now visited Manchester three times in the last month! (as you’ll know if you watched my Q&A)
This time around however, as it is currently the Easter half term here in the UK and everyone is out of school and college, that meant my Brother and Mum were off work / school… So my Dad took the time off from work and we took a trip there together. We were staying over the night in a cute hotel room and stayed on the top floor of the hotel giving us a beautiful view of the city.

We spent the first day of our trip wandering around the city itself, popping in and out of the countless shops and the various bars and restaurants the city had to offer. We visited what was possibly the biggest Lush store I’d ever been in, Urban Outfitters and the cutest Cath Kidston store. We made a little visit into The Printworks and later stopped off at the most adorable little Chinese restaurant for some food before heading back to the hotel ( and getting lost whilst doing so)

I was initially planning to vlog the trip, but found myself purely spending time with my family and photographing a million things for my Instagram account (and this post) so apologies to any of you who were looking forward to that after I tweeted it.

What have you been up to this week?!
