Lush Christmas

For Christmas off Jake and my Mum I was given various different Lush products, a combination of skin products and bath products, all which I am OBSESSED with. Anyone who knows me well enough would know that Lush is possibly my favourite store in existence and I love all of their products which I have used.
For Christmas the Lush products which I received were:

Grease Lightning

Lush Description “Grease Lightning is a powerful combination of ingredients that will nip any breakouts in the bud without upsetting the skin around them. We use an infusion of antibacterial and antiseptic rosemary, thyme and tea tree, as well as antioxidant-rich grape juice and witch hazel, which is astringent and anti-inflammatory and is said to soothe redness. This product is ideally applied when you feel a spot is about to erupt – prevention is better than cure”

Cupcake Facemask

Lush Description “Cupcake is our one fresh face mask that was created for a bit of fun. At the time, our inventor’s daughter was a young girl having slumber parties with her girlfriends every weekend, so he whipped up a chocolate mint mask for young, oily skin (officially solidifying him as the coolest dad ever). If you suffer from oily or spotty skin, slather it in this cocoa concoction. With spearmint oil to cool, vanilla absolute to calm redness and Rhassoul mud to deeply cleanse- Cupcake is a sweet savior for young faces. Smothering yourself in chocolate for clearer skin? Every teenage girl’s dream”

From my boyfriend Jake I received a cute little gift box with a small collection of bathbombs and a bubble bar inside, the things included in it were:

Peeping Santa Bubble Bar

Lush Description “Have you been naughty or nice this year? Only Peeping Santa knows for sure, so you should probably crumble him up in your tub before he tells everyone your secrets! Made with hand-churned shea butter from the Ojoba women’s cooperative in Ghana and creamy fair trade cocoa butter, this bubbler will keep winter skin soft and smelling like sweet summer strawberries. What more could you ask for this Christmas?”

Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb

Lush Description “Inspired by the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, Lord of Misrule brings mischievous revelry to the tub with a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. As it slowly froths in the water, hypnotic swirling silver luster is released and the deep green exterior soon gives way to a rich, wine-colored center. Just like at the Feast of Fools, when the wine begins flowing, the revelry really begins! Popping candies fizz and crackle, creating a world of magic and mischief right before your eyes.”

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb

Lush Description “Fancy an uplifting cocktail? Cognac and zesty lime oils get this bath party started with mood-brightening scents while sweet orange oil refreshes the senses. In the water, this present-shaped fizzer unwraps itself to reveal glittering golden luster and a sparkling turquoise explosion. Don’t wait until Christmas day to bathe yourself in festive luxury!”

Dashing Santa Bath Bomb

Lush Description “Santa’s golden boots fizz away first, sending him dashing around delivering lustrous waters of cheery mandarin oil. Bright, fruity bergamot and orange flower absolutes scent the air like fresh satsumas, making him a perfect treat for the bottom of stockings.”

Cinders Bath Bomb

Lush Description “With stimulating cinnamon leaf oil, the warmth of the hearth and the scents of hot fruit punch are a bath away. Skip the open fire and curl up with a fireside gathering of coarse sea salt and popping candy instead.”

I’m super excited to get to try out each of these products, I’ve already been using the Grease Lightning spot cream and the Cupcake face mask, both of which have already caused a visible improvement to my skin and I couldn’t be happier with them.
