About this deal
In this webinar we are going to explore nutrition across the menstrual cycle, for preconception and pregnancy, and during the menopause. Women can also suffer from unique gynecological issues such as; premenstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) - all which can be influenced by nutrition. The nutritional part was more interesting for me, as we I lay deal little with that during med school.
Determined to help her patients, Dr Gemma Newman has studied nutrition, psychotherapy and a wide range of holistic approaches alongside her medical practice.
Everything is well explained and I think this book would be suitable for a layman as the scientific terms are well explained. A friend recommended this to me after I had a little bit of a grumble about not getting support with a health concern. She has continued to be a no-nonsense source of information on an incredibly wide variety of health and well-being topics. It was also interesting to have access to her balanced views on topics I don’t know much about, such as HRT. Whilst the parts of the book that were educational were very well written, easy to understand and I definitely took information on board, I was hoping for deeper knowledge and understand and it seemed a little surface level.
