Complete with a flashing LED light for night fishing, this iBobber is perfect for night as well as day. For those unfamiliar the iBobber is a castable bluetooth fishfinder that syncs up to a smartphone or tablet. The “other features” that we’re about to describe are features that take advantage of the unit’s GPS. Besides the fish finder and waterbed mapper, it also has a fish strike alarm and an LED beacon for night fishing. Though it looks pretty much like a regular fishing bobber, a round white and red ball with two eyes for line connections, instead of being an empty airhead it’s got some smarts packed inside the plastic dome.

One of the biggest selling points of the iBobber is that it connects to devices via Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi. The sonar is altogether unimpressive, but you can use it in shallow or deep water, and you get a decent sonar angle. Once connected, I could map the floor of my pond and even see some of the goldfish with the fish finder (I think. It informs you about the soil condition, water temperature, battery status as well as month and day, moon, sunrise/set, temperature, rain, wind and works as a barometer.BNPL is an interest bearing option that allows you to delay payments on your purchases for up to 12 months depending on how much you spend.
