The opening system is based on patented spring struts ( lifetime guaranteed), which allows the box to be opened and closed very easily. Thanks to the aerodynamic design, there was little wind noise. However, there was some whistling at motorway speeds.

Thanks for the tips jamen, I however didn't mean that I'm not bothered about swerving or loss of handling. I wouldn't think about mounting a large roof box if my car lost anoticable amount of handling. What I meant was that I'm not worried about my car losing any handling due to a roofbox. A lighter car might suffer, but I'm pretty sure that heavy A4 will be fine. Also consider how you want it to open and what materials you want the box to be made from, as more cost-effective boxes are made from thinner plastics that may vibrate in the wind. While fitting roof bars yourself is certainly an option, if you’d prefer to take the hassle out of the process then we can fit them for you.
