The 13-track full-length album was recorded in multiple locations across the UK, Los Angeles and Tokyo from 2020 to 2021.

Produced by Buckingham with Richard Dashut, Tango in the Night began as one of Buckingham's solo projects, but by 1985 the production had morphed into Fleetwood Mac's next album. It topped the album charts in the UK and scored major hits everywhere with "Big Love" and "Little Lies". Finally the third disc could have quite easily been made into two and included a few other obscure edits but we have been left with a single disc of the most important ones.
