CUT ROOFING IS EASY IF YOU KNOW THE BASICS, FIRST THING NOT MENTIONED HERE IS ANGLES..IE COMMON 40 DEGREE ROOF PITCH... So a 20 foot wide building with a 40 degree pitch = 40 d ridge angle and 50 d seat angle (wall plate) just square off the 50 d to get the bird mouth ( 1/3 depth of rafter).
