All the clues point to the Fiendish Fox Gang. The inhabitants of United Woodlands are being terrorised and all evidence and paws point to the Fiendish Fox Gang (the FFG for short). In a secret hideout deep underground lives the infamous leader of the gang and she plans on ruining the autumn fair and squashing everyone and everything that’s there! There are more dramatic missions ahead for Agent Weasel and Doorkins, can you give us a clue about where they’ll take place?
I am so happy with Vic and Viv and I hope that they will get a prominent role in the next books because I just love the twins(? I am thinking they are giving their build/looks/names).What a very good question. I think writing allows more freedom to play around with the time line – particularly if there is action involved. And there is certainly a lot of that in Agent Weasel. My main aim was to keep the momentum going and the descriptive elements to a minimum in these stories. So, a well-placed illustration really helped with that. This was such a delightful and funny read about WI6 (yes really) and Agent Weasel who works there and gets a new job! The foxes are up to something bad and it is up to Agent Weasel to find out what is going on and to fix it. It's time to call Agent Weasel, woodland super-spy. Can he and his trusty dormouse friend Doorkins find out more about the sleek winter ermine who are winning all the golden acorns? Will Weasel be able to take part in the competition without falling over his own feet? Will there be enough marshmallows and sprinkles for another hot chocolate? Who knows? I am now at home, so hopefully one of my libraries here will have the second book as I need to know what happened in that book~

I loved the case and I loved seeing what the foxes were up to, in the end I hadn't even expected that, but I can imagine she became grumpy, I would have become grumpy to. No worries, I won't shave any badgers bottoms if I get grumpy. Interesting you should ask. I don’t know if it will be quite that obvious until book two comes out. But each story is themed around a season of the year. Book one is autumn, book two will be winter, spring and so on. The second book is out towards the end of January next year. And will be chilly paw freezer of a mystery – set on the snow-capped peak of Windtop Hill. Book three is a wet and wild tale of flooded woodlands and an expedition into the treetops. But I daren’t say anymore as it’s exceedingly top-secret.
If you go down to the woods today you’re in for a terrible surprise…you’ll find badgers without furry bottoms, rabbits with itchy problems, voles without holes and some very naughty foxes.Even though creating your own book can be much harder – illustrating for other writers is a great responsibility. You really want to achieve their vision, which can certainly make for a more drawn out process – if you’ll pardon the pun. But there is nothing more exciting than that first read of a new text. Characters and scenes immediately start popping into in my head. I’ll usually begin sketching away on the A4 printout – before I’ve even read to the end. What happens at the end of my trial? It's the opening night of the Big Freeze winter games, but all is not well in the United Woodlands. Top animal athletes are disappearing, and there are whispers of a silent snow beast on the prowl. Which is easier for you – writing or drawing a funny scene?
