CYCLE CHALLENGES

This version of our London to Dublin itinerary sees us catching the Holyhead to Dublin ferry after an epic ride across England and north Wales, taking in the Snowdonia National Park. Join us from one historic capital to another, riding through some of the UK's most spectacular scenery, all in 4 days!

The bike is single speed, perfect for a flat city and in my opinion a great asset if you are opting for a bike at the lower end of the market as it reduces the risk of pesky mechanicals further down the line.Please note that this itinerary, for a larger group will allow for two route distances each day - meaning that both stronger and more beginner riders may be catered for. The easier option still entails distances of around 60 miles each day - but avoids some of the bigger climbs. It has come to Challenge’s attention that ENVE SES model carbon wheels do not comply with the above standards on the design of the rounded hooked rim radius. In fact, ENVE’s SES have two sharp (<0.2mm) radii in their hooks, that leave two parallel cuts about 0.5mm apart, around the entire radius of our (and other company’s) tires, at around 3-4mm above the bead. Leaders will carry safety equipment and first aid kits with them at all times. Please note, these kits are for emergencies only so please come prepared with your own personal first aid items.

This grand 175 mile route from central London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris is a classic, with a special twist. Ride from one exciting European capital to another in just twenty four hours! Try our great fun, London Amsterdam bike challenge adventure - taking 5 days in total (4 Cycling Days), with one day to return home, you’ll be covering around 290 miles - just enough to blow the cobwebs away - or stretch yourself to the limit - depending upon your fitness level! This is an ideal itinerary for those embarking on a first cycling challenge - as the hills are very few and far between!
