In Brush of Wings we were in two different locations and I think they had a great impact on the overall story. I also think Karen did a wonderful job of a little summary of the first two books by weaving them into the story. Increasing your present moment awareness of the angels is one of the best ways to start tuning their guidance, especially in the moment when you've received a sign of their presence. Mary Catherine irritated me a little bit because she would not allow herself to fall in love, even though she did start to but kept telling herself not to, all because she has this heart condition. But in a way I kinda understood because she does not have a lot of time left and does not want to hurt the guy that she is falling in love with. Besides the above two points the story was awesome. Tyler is like the prodigal son who takes a baseball contract despite his parents wishes that he would go to college on a scholarship. He leaves his parents and his girlfriend Sami for stardom he envisions in baseball. He proceeds to spend all his money and misbehave (drinking and women). Five years down the road after not speaking to his parents and breaking up with Sami, Tyler is on the verge of finally making the Reds. He has a perfect game going and blows out his shoulder. Team cuts him and no insurance to fix his shoulders. Angels are incredible beings of higher cognition, peace, and wisdom. They are literally the messengers of God, and so an angelic being who is near you or who is watching over you with their awareness focused in your direction has a way of evoking a profound sense of emotional warmth, love, peace, and harmony. When you encounter this angel sign, you feel loved unconditionally, comforted and you feel in that moment at ease, and like all is well. You're able to see and remember good and beauty in the world. Signs or Advertisements Tyler Ames wants to be a pitcher in the major leagues, but a injury in the minors sets him on a course that he never saw coming.Hebrews 13:2, says “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for in doing so some of you have entertained without knowing it.” (Kingsbury, pg. 227)

The second purpose of angels is to deliver a message from God. We cannot effectively pray to angels to deliver our petitions to God as some religions may claim.Although you've probably already heard and been told some of the common angel signs, its important to know that your guardian angels may use any number of signs and synchronicity to get your attention. I am going to share some of the most frequently encountered signs for you here… But just because I don't mention something below, doesn't mean your angels won't use it as a sign for you. I cannot wait to read more from Karen Kingsbury. Her books have changed my life for the better. Each time I read one of her books I learn more and about God. I also learn more about myself. I felt, though, that Mary Catherine's decision to not share her health problems seemed dishonest and not befitting of her character. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
