About this deal

Return to the glittering Lancaster world with the story of a damaged woman who gets her chance to redeem herself with the one man who’s been in love with her forever… Realising that Wren is not getting much sleep due to the baby and breastfeeding Crew wants to do something special for her. His older brother Grant makes a suggestion to allow them some child-free time which enables them to reconnect before Christmas. Lovely literature right there. Especially when he proceeds to call someone else a misogynist after a few chapters of related thoughts.

BRO WTH HE KNOWS! HE IS POWERFUL HE OWNS THE SCHOOL AND HE ALLOWS THIS PERVE TO CONTINUE WORKING THERE!An early birthday present for my Birdy. A million kisses in your lifetime, from me to you. Love, Crew"

From the beginning all the way to the very end, this book had me hooked. I'll always be down to read the good girl x bad boy trope and this one did not miss. The thing I love most about this trope is the fact that these characters are more similar than they think. This applies to Wren and Crew as well. I love how Monica Murphy walks us through the character development between these two and that she wrote them in a way that tells us that they bring out the absolute best in each other. Attending lavish parties is not a common affair for Summer Savage, her family are on the fringe of society but her stepfather wanted her to get used to the glamour of it all. Her fourteen-year-old self sips leftover champagne as she watches the party in awe. Captivated by a boy who is around her age, yet seems older than her then steals her first kiss before calling her a whore. Telling her about her mom’s affair with his father and that she is probably on her knees for him. Summer suddenly saw the world differently after that night. He’s always been off limits because I know a relationship with him could never work. Like, ever. He’s too perfect, too sweet, too good looking. Taking what we have a step further has the potential to ruin everything, and his friendship is too important to me. First I did not care for the way Crew talked to Wren or about girls in general. Rude, mysogonistic made me disgusted with him instead of making me like him. so instead wren focuses on her school work, covering up her rapidly developing body (as a big boobed girl myself, i related so hard to her struggles with clothing, getting leering looks and her mother looking at her body in disgust😭), until a psychology project puts her and crew on the same path.Wren was cute. I liked her growth in confidence but she was a bit stupid sometimes. I liked that she added the art aspect to it but didn’t make it her whole personality. The whole thing with her being a virgin and then losing it was basically the point of this book. It’s obviously gna be repeated a lot which I was prepared for, so it didn’t really annoy me. i’ve only read two of monica murphy’s books and that is “things i wanted to say, but never did” and then this one, i absolutely hated both. so i’m giving up on her books for now forever. Coming home late one evening after a few drinks Grant finds a woman in his bed. Whilst he doesn’t know who she is, he isn’t surprised that there is one there knowing that it is probably a surprise from his brother – a somewhat silly tradition between them. Sliding into bed he rouses the woman and finds her responsive to him, although there is something familiar about her. ASSAULT SOUNDS WONDERFUL CREW THAT IS DEFINITELY HOW YOU GET THE GILR HOW NOT TO TELL YOU ABOUT YOU POTHEAD HABITS 💪🏻 CLEARLY THEY LEFT YOU WITHOUT A SINGLE BRAINCELL AND ANY LIKABLE QUALITY IN YOUR BODY.
