Alice Nimbletoes (voiced by Jo Wyatt) is Angelina's soft-voiced best friend, who is very skilled at gymnastics. She has a very big appetite and also appears slightly lighter in colour in Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps. She speaks with a Yorkshire accent. Personal Response: This book has both beautiful illustrations and a great story line. The illustrations are captivating and very well done. The story line and lesson is great too and it shows children that if they work hard enough at something they really want, they will get it. When her parents give her an outlet for that talent and interest, she starts doing as she is supposed to do. William wants to be part of Sammy's club. He gains acceptance when Sammy is in need of a new trolley from Mr. Longtail. He ends up letting Angelina and Miss Lilly down, but his and Sammy's lot make up for it. I personally enjoyed this book because of the illustrations and basis of the story. Angelina worked hard to reach her goals and found great success. This story can inspire all of us to continue working hard. A second revival was announced in 2015, was to be co-produced by Mattel (who acquired HIT Entertainment in 2012) and 9 Story Media Group. A revival of Barney & Friends was announced at the same time. [3] However, no new information on either revival has been provided since the initial announcement.

Angelina Ballerina remains just as special of a book to me as it was when I was a child. My life-long love for this book is absolutely solidified and strengthened. 💕 Miss Quaver (voiced by Finty Williams) is Miss Lilly's nervous pianist, who plays the piano during dance classes. Although she has good intentions, can come across as quite negative at times as she scolds her class if they make mistakes. She grew up in Dacovia, which is a faraway land from Mouseland. She speaks English with a Russian accent. Angelina Mousling loves to dance so much she even dreams of dancing but when she starts to dance herself right into trouble, her parents decide that it's time to ballet lessons! Soon, Angelina is dancing her heart away in class instead of through her neighbors' pansies. Problem solved. Polly Mouseling is the younger daughter of Maurice and Matilda and the little sister of Angelina. In the TV series Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps, Polly is four years old. Revisiting this book as an adult was utterly lovely, and left me feeling bubbly-happy. The art was just as warm and charming as I remember, and I now know why I developed such an affection for The Sugarplum Fairy (Angelina’s dream sequence). I love this book just as much, if not more, than I did as a little girl. I actually didn’t remember the ending, and it was such a great surprise when I realized what it was! I think that’s an ending long-time lovers of this book can appreciate even more as an adult! I understand that Angelina has a dream and nothing will stop her, even her parents, even the rules. I just don't see how this is a nice lesson or story for children. It's almost saying don't pay any attention to the people around you, behave selfishly, and you will eventually push them to give you what they want. This story would have been better if her parents had taught her to have respect for her family and for the property of others and if she had learned all of these things, perhaps they would be able to help her begin to dance. A prank from Sammy gets him in trouble after Angelina accidentally ruins Mrs. Hodgepodge's prize cauliflower. Angelina, ridden with guilt, confesses and both Angelina and Sammy make it up to Mrs. Hodgepodge.On a camping trip, Angelina ventures with Henry into the dense forest, hoping to recover Grandpa's war medal. They become lost and see signs that look like the legendary Big Paw until they are met by Colonel Forthfoot.
