The XROS 3 has a 1000mAh battery, which is the same capacity as the XROS 2. Battery life is good on this device, especially considering the strength and warmth of the draw. With the 0.6Ω pod you can expect to vape about two and a half pods before the battery dies, while with the 1.0Ω pod you can expect to vape three full pods of ejuice per charge.

Getting started

The pods for the XROS 3 are compatible with previous XROS devices. The pods from previous XROS devices are also compatible with the XROS 3. These pods have the coil built into the pod, so there’s no need to hassle with changing the coils. Once the pod starts to taste off or the performance drops off, you simply swap out the old pod for a new one. The draw activation works fine like this, so you can vape it either with or without the button. As for the 0.6-ohm pod, it ranges between a loose MTL and a tight RDL. Unlike the QS, the mouthpiece didn’t seem to get hot with RDL vaping, but you’ll probably need to streamline it a bit if that’s how you want to use it. I mainly used it as an MTL vape with the airflow almost fully closed, and I had to use the button for MTL when I opened the airflow around halfway because the sensor was struggling to register some hits. My 20 mg salt felt a bit too strong on this pod, but it was a great fit for my 7 mg freebase juice. As for coil life, I must have gone through eight or nine pods till now, and it vapes like new.
