The plugs have either a 3 amp or a 13 amp rated fuse - It is very rare that you find anything inbetween although there are other fuses available.

When a figure is obtained from the calculation it is simply a case of adding approx 10% to the value and choosing the nearest fuse to match. My views would also be to replace like for like, the plug may be rated as 13amps, but there must be a reason why a 3amp fuse was installed by the manufacturer.
