Description

The Astra Militarum got a box true to the phrase “Cadia stands!”, as the Cadian Defence Force brings some serious firepower alongside the heroes of the Imperium. The box contains two squads of foot soldiers, two tanks and a command squad to guide them through the storm of battle. That alone would be worth a letter to Santa, but how much can you save on the Defence Force?

Some pretty great boxes overall, and if these rumors are true, each army is going to get a decent number of savings. Orks are looking to come out on top, but the Nids box and the Space Marines box will be getting a ton of new minis in their boxes. This Battleforce is a great foundation for a Leagues of Votann army, as it’s exactly 750 points of great units. If you pair the Defenders of the Ancestors up with a Combat Patrol box, you almost have an army that could take on anything! If you build out from there, you can have a 2000 point of height challenged individuals in no time! Tyranids – Onslaught Swarm November 20th 2021 – Unlikely, it’s too soon and we know we still have Shadow Throne coming this year. We know that the troops for the Astra Militarum is fairly cheap – after all, there are billions of men and women in the Imperial Guard. Thanks to the tanks, the total Points value of this box comes out to 705 points, which should provide a solid foundation for a Militarum army. Or a great addition if you’re trying to round your 2000 Points list out! Space Marines – Spearhead Force Claim all of the biomass in the galaxy for the all powerful Hive Mind with this Broodswarm. It features several units that are ideal for inclusion in any Tyranid force, whether you’re starting a new army or adding to an existing one, all for less than you’d pay getting the models separately. Even after the arrival of the Neurotyrant, Psychophage, and more with the Leviathan box, the Tyranids still have more horrors to offer: the Norn Emissary/Norn Assimilator, the Neurolictor, and the combined Biovore/Pyrovore.

The Bonereapers box reigns supreme at the highest value (for both AoS and 40k), but most of the boxes have a decent mix of units, and if you need everything in the box, buy away and save those hobby dollars! All the Latest Warhammer Rules & Model Rumors A fairly varied mix of Adeptus Mechanicus units that looks like a solid starter army out of the box, the Adeptus Mechanicus Elimination Maniple Battleforce comes with 20 models total, including:

Each round the Tyranid player can select a Synaptic Imperative bonus that will apply to all their units in Synapse range. The hive mind channels its concentrated will, making the xenos harder to kill, faster, oreven more voracious. Though the buffs are different, this is an even more flexible detachment than the Invasion Fleet, but relies more on Synapse organisms.
