Description

All other new prints involve the MicroFigs. This set contains 11 new prints for the 85863, and 4 plain versions in Light Bluish Gray: The set contains 338 parts and 3 spares, in 19 colors, and 18 part categories, with a total of 88 unique parts/color combinations. A huge host of Orcs poured into the new breach, and after a desperate battle in the Deep, some of the defenders led by Éomer, Gimli and Gamling retreated into the Glittering Caves while Aragorn, Legolas and the remainder fought their way into the keep via a stairway from the Deep to the fortress. During the retreat, Aragorn stumbled and was almost overcome by Orcs; but was saved by Legolas and a boulder that was cast down upon the Orcs from the wall. After I build a new Lego set I always have a few small pieces left. Did I forget to use them? Verified One of the things that got me out of my Dark Ages, was a documentary on LEGO, filmed around the time The LEGO Group was coming out it's Dark Ages itself. One of the things that were shown, was a new line of products, called LEGO Games. The concept seemed to make sense: Appeal to both LEGO fans and board games fans, by letting you build your own board game.

Batalla de les Fortalesa de la Banya (Battle of the Hornburg) Batalla de les Gorja d'en Helm (Battle of the Helm's Deep) Batalla das Fortaleza de Corno (Battle of the Hornburg) Batalla das Abismo de Helmo (Battle of the Helm's Deep) After the wall has be destroyed and you’ll down by the large opening, there is a dig spot to the right of the destroyed wall with the treasure in it. In the next section, before you throw Gimli over, head down to the bottom of the steps for the minikit. To put it simply, the Lego Rivendell set is stunning. It is by far the best-looking and most detailed set on this list, not to mention the biggest. It has been the perfect way to revive the presence of Lord of the Rings in Lego form. With over 6,000 pieces and 15 unique minifigures, this set offers hours of fun assembly.

Many modern Lego instructions include a part list at the end of the booklet. In the case of multiple booklets the list might be found in the middle of the PDF. The Lego Rivendell set isn't for children, and Lego makes that clear, having marked the set as 18+. The size and complexity work well to appeal to its older target audience. The army of Saruman, ultimately consisting of Uruk-hai, Wild Men of Dunland, Orcs, and Half-orcs, was reinforced on the way to Hornburg, due to casualties in the Battles of the Fords of Isen. The army would arrive at the fortress at midnight on March 3. One of the Rohirrim dead was Háma, a captain of Théoden's personal guard and doorward of Meduseld, whose body the Orcs hewed after he died. Nonetheless, the refugees in the Glittering Caves were safe in their entirety, and thus returned to their homes. Gimli had lost his helmet in the battle and was wounded badly on the head, but he had killed forty-two Orcs to Legolas' forty-one. [1]

From the exit of the castle through to the end of the horse ride, there are five posts to destroy for the minikit. As you’re heading up the stairs as part of the story path, you’ll see a plant grow point on the left. Use this to retrieve the minikit. The Mines of Moria are one of the most famous settings in Lord of the Rings. While Gandalf doesn't make an appearance in this Lego set, Pippin does, alongside Legolas, Boromir, and Gimli. Just before dawn, Aragorn called for a parley at the gate and told the Orcs that they would die if they didn't surrender, but the Uruk-hai laughed at his threat and attempted to shoot Aragorn down, almost killing him. The Orcs then blasted open the gate, destroying the arch with the 'blasting-fire'. Suddenly, Théoden and Aragorn led a powerful cavalry charge out of the keep to the blasts of the great horn of Helm Hammerhand, followed by the defenders of the Hornburg, driving the Uruks away from the remains of the gate. At the same time, Éomer and Gimli with the company in the caves pushed the Orcs out of the Deep. The army of the Mark drove the enemy behind the Dike into the Deeping-coomb. Defeat the enemy forces at the legendary Battle of Helm’s Deep™ with LEGO® Games The Lord of the Rings™! Play as Aragorn™, Legolas, Gimli™ and the people of Rohan, or side with the evil Uruk-hai™ Army of Isengard as you battle it out for control of the mighty fortress of the Hornburg at Helm’s Deep! For even more variety, change the game using the alternate rules or make up your own to create a truly unique LEGO Games experience. Includes 28 microfigures, including Aragorn, Haldir™, Eowyn™, Gimli, Legolas, King Théoden™, 4 Rohirrim™ swordsmen, Uruk-hai archer, 5 Uruk-hai Berserkers, Uruk-hai leader and 11 Uruk-hai swordsmen. The BoxThis Lego set might be small, but it is uniquely pretty. If you don't have the space for a large set, this is a nice alternative. It's small enough that it won't take up much room on your shelf while still representing your love of Lord of the Rings. The two biggest contributers to the discolouring of the plastic of Lego toys are long term exposure to sunlight and cigarette smoke. Try to minimise these when storing your Playmobil. Batalla de las Hornburg (Battle of the Hornburg) Batalla del Abismo de Helm (Battle of the Helm's Deep)

Home > Toys > Lego > Lego Lord of the Rings > Lego set 9474 Lord of the Rings The battle of Helms Deep Manual Lego set 9474 Lord of the Rings The battle of Helms Deep Bataille de la Fort-le-Cor (Battle of the Hornburg) Bataille du Gouffre de Helm (Battle of the Helm's Deep) The battle begins once the Uruk host of 10,000 has formed fully in front of the castle - an accidental bow shot by an old man named Aldor kills an Uruk at the front, followed by a volley of arrows from all defenders once the Uruks begin to charge forward. The events are similar to those in the book, as Uruk-hai pour over ladders on the Deeping Wall to be met with a brave but shifting defence by the Rohirrim; however, Legolas, Gimli, and Aragorn's roles are greatly expanded, and the device responsible for destroying the wall is revealed as a form of gunpowder. Once the wall is blown, the Uruk-hai pour into Helm's Deep through the breach.Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique? The instructions encourage you to come up with your own spin on the game. That can be by using more parts to expand the board, or come up with additional rules. They even give some examples. The set also comes with 2 additonal Leaders for the defenders, mixing up the possibilities. So, how is the verdict? Firstly the build. There is nothing really special in it. The castle is pretty basic, and the other elements are repetitive. It felt like 'let's get this over with so we can play', what goes against everything a LEGO build should be. So on that front, I'm not recommending this set. Just then, Gandalf on his horse Shadowfax arrived with Erkenbrand and a thousand-foot soldiers. They charged Sauraman's host, trapping them between Erkenbrand's army, Théoden's army, and a newly appeared forest of strange trees. The Dunlendings dropped their weapons and surrendered, while the Uruk-hai fled into the forest.
