com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. It’s youthful, playful, girly, sweet and I don’t care that it’s not a complex, esteemed fragrance-it is what it is-it’s fun! I actually enjoy the licorice note - I love anise, and it was really nice to smell it so forward in a gourmand. Think instead of burnt sugar, you get caramelized sugar with warm coconut milk with a very light backing of white floral for that true summer scent.

It's *a lot* and a sillage monster, and I think anyone could wear this regardless of age or gender if their personality suits it - it's not a wallflower perfume.

In any case, the scent matches how people describe it and what notes are listed, and the intensity is strong, so I will review assuming that my bottle is not expired. But it happened to be a cool day when I tested this, and I feel like the cold makes it 'shrink' and smell 'hard' and screechy. It’s one of the longest lasting fragrance not only on my clothes but also on my skin, which is quite rare to find. This scent takes 80% of Pink Sugar DNA with a blast of orange and a bit of white florals in the opening. I don't know but I will give it another try in the cold winter since it seems to be recommended for that, but as og now this isn't a gourmand in my opinion, and j feel this can make people around you very nauseous!

I'd never smelled anything similar, save for Juice Bar Cotton Candy (I turned all the waitresses onto it in 2001 at the restaurant I worked at. I find myself reaching for this more often than any of my other, more expensive perfumes, even before work, and every time I ask myself if I'm too grown up to smell like a unicorn. It makes me want to put on some Britney Spears and flip through People magazine while I let my nails dry. It's a shame because I could also smell a lot of delicious sweetness on the background that I actually enjoyed. I see that many people aren't fond of the licorice note, but to me, it's what keeps the fragrance from being juvenile by adding a spicy twist.

cut to me absolutely hating this 🤡 i can definitely smell the cotton candy but it's like cotton candy melting away in something absolutely disgusting. However, after some time it begins to soften and keeps a very strong sillage and very sweet sugar scent for several hours on my skin. i assume that's the "burnt note" people often mention, but it honestly smells more like something rotting than burnt sugar or burnt plastic to me, and it overpowers any sweetness this has.

I have Pink Sugar Creamy Sunshine on one hand and Kilian Love Don't be Shy on the other and they do smell quite similar. the first time i wore it i was in LOVE with the sweet burnt sugar dry down, but now i just cant get over the spicy licorice that overpowers everything else (especially on that first spray).White floral with a 'socks' overtone, the only other frag if got that from is juicy couture peace love.
