Plug Mustang Micro directly into your guitar, connect your favorite wired headphones, and choose your perfect amp and effect settings. Mustang Micro’s 1/8” stereo headphone out allows the flexibility to use your favorite wired headphones or earbuds and silently play with a responsive touch and feel without annoying latency. So I have that sticking up on the guitar, just like, so I have it kind of, uh, Propped up on my whammy bar, which is pretty convenient because it helps me see what is due. And it’s the mobility angle that is key here – pick up, plug in and play with an internal battery chargeable via USB to simplify things further.

Fender Mustang Micro’s 1/8” stereo headphone output allows you to use your favourite wired headphones or earbuds and silently play with a responsive touch and feel, without off-putting latency. I thought the Blackstar Fly was the answer and in fairness it was and is definitely a great product in itself. The breakthroughs and innovations that we uncover lead to new ways of thinking, new connections, and new industries. In the olden days, when we were lucky if our practice amps had a headphones output, that dry, direct signal had no sense of ambience or space.

The EFFECTS switch allows the player to choose from a number of effect presets, including chorus/reverb, tremolo/reverb, and various delay and reverb combinations. Post-production stuff, which I never do anyway, but just, I just want to explain like why and how this is going to be different than, than my regular setup. Those are the traditional kind of amp in a box is great for like, um, recording can be super playing live. Uh, here’s the thing that you’re going to want to keep a in your wallet and your guitar case with this.

It's able to handle heavy-duty tasks with ease, and the leather panels on the thighs look and feel great once you get them broken in. The Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream music to the amp and play along, and that USB-C output makes recording your ideas very easy. you guys have more vintage sound and like a modern vibe Bronto, which is going to get kind of woozy. We don’t have flying cars yet, but we do have miniaturized gadgets that can fit in our pockets and are as good or better than their larger, more cumbersome counterparts.

The Mustang Micro's USB-C socket performs three separate tasks: It provides a connection to the player's computer for recording music and for updating the device's firmware when required, and is also used to recharge the battery. Consider however the non-producer musicians who just want to get their sound into GarageBand or whatever those poor souls on Windows use, and the FMMA could be ideal for those use cases. Not the cheapest but very likely the smartest choice if you are looking for a versatile, easy to handle, pocket-sized portable amp to serve your practicing needs. I’m not the type of person who’s going to drag my Telecaster into the middle of the woods for an hour of scales, but I am absolutely going to practice outside when the weather is nice. IMO although the YouTube import/play-along features are cool, they are also very limited to the point where they are often useless. Best left on the shelf in general or used as props to remind oneself that one is a musician, like those little scale models of guitars.
