I got a Nerf Hailfire a few months after it was released and when I tried to shoot it it was awesome, for a few seconds. Check to see if the metallic sections of the positive and negative terminals are making connections to those of the battery holders. This kit fits into both versions of the Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe: The XD-version and the non-XD-version. The blaster's acceleration trigger powers up the motor for semi-auto blasting that lets you unleash a storm of revolutionary Elite Darts at your target! With the Nerf Hail-Fire you will be able to get to targets up to 75 feet away; this is the farthest shooting toy gun that Nerf has ever released. Keeping it with Elite series gear was fine although it looked a bit like a tragic mess given I was using an 18 round mag, a 12 round mag, and then a 25 round drum. The Hail-Fire (formerly known as Hailfire) is a 2012 N-Strike Elite blaster that can hold up to eight clips in a circular rotating ammo rack. I didn’t run into trouble with streamlines like I did with the Nerf Barricade, so bonus points for that. Whether you have been shooting all day, or pick up your gun for the first time in months, and notice that your motor is not running (not even at a low speed), chances are that your batteries' lives are over. This product is not a product of the manufacturer or importer of the dart blaster designated as compatible. Power up for semi-auto blasting by holding down the Acceleration Trigger, then blast darts as fast as you can pull the Launch Trigger.

But it gets a massive thumbs down for ergonomics as it's awkward to use but is also lacking in cool factor aesthetics being so small and strange looking.I also think the hail-fire is more solidly built than say the, Pyragon, which mine is currently unable to operate for some reason since it keeps jamming, and won't fire discs successfully now. Using the Hailfire is easy enough- the handle on the top rotates the ammo rack, which accomodates N-Strike mags/drums, however you combo them is up to you. Nerf brand blasters, alternative-brands, modifications, community made designs, competitive wars, Humans vs. As an adult player of nerf with a full time job and fairly busy life, I appreciate the concise reporting mixed with honest, whine-free opinion. On days I don’t want to use my Nerf Vortex Pyragon, the Nerf N-Strike Elite Hailfire gives me a dart shooting option.

The Hail-Fire is a Nerf blaster that was released on September 9, 2012, under the N-Strike Elite series. This gun was a real winner for my son on Christmas day, it was simple to put together and really easy to load and use even for a 7 year old. You can dress up your reasons for having something “War-worthy” or “Useful” but hang it all, this thing is decadent, it’s overkill, and some days you feel like a nut. You’re not going prone with it, as the thing demands you stand there tall and proud, to lay down the foam. But I did like the review, and if everyone agreed on everything than the world would be a boring place. The ammo rack is nuts to look at, at first, and I'll admit I thought it was silly, but now that I own one, its just a neat feature to be able to mix and match ammo magazines. They also allow us to test different behaviours and functionalities and measure and evaluate their suitability. He's had excellent reviews on the Retaliator and Rampage, and he's taken pics of Nerf blasters with his hot model friends. At the time, the only official way to achieve its advertised 144 dart capacity would be either to obtain N-Strike eighteen dart clips from the Stampede ECS, or by obtaining the N-Strike Firefly Tech clip from the Rayven CS-18. Now I am ready to reassemble, and the spring near the motor came off and I can't figure out where it goes or how to put it back properly… is there a picture or suggestion somewhere I'm not looking?
