I’ve seen a number of different bloggers down my Bloglovin+ feed publish this sort of post recently, and I guess you could say it has inspired me a little to actually do it myself. It’s been so long since I’ve done a Tag, they’re not really something I tend to do on my blog, but, the ‘This Time Next Year Tag’ seemed like one I just couldn’t resist. I love reflecting back on my life and on my progress not only with my blog but also as a person in general.
2016 has definitley been one roller coaster of a year for me, but overall the outcome has been primarily positive and for that I’m very thankful. I try my hardest not to dwell on the negative aspects of the past and try not to let them hold me back in the future so reflecting on the positives is always a good thing to do in my books.
I think the actual questions I’m going to answer are centered more around the end of the year, all of them being the sort of questions you’d answer at the end of December, not a month before the year is going to end. Nevertheless I’m going to answer them anyway as sort of a ‘Pre-December Reflection’, and possibly help to give me some vague idea of what my new years resolution(s) could be!
What was your biggest achievement of 2016? 2016 for me, has really been the year of getting myself back on track. With 2015 being quite a patchy year, emotionally, mentally and physically; when I started this year I was determined to try and get myself and my life in general to a much better place. Have I achieved this? I’d say yes! Whilst nothing is ever perfect I can definitley say that all the battles of the previous year have definitley remained in the past, and that’s something I’m definitley very proud of.
What do you want to achieve with your blog by this time next year? I’d say continuing to grow my blog is definitley something I want to work more on by this time next year! I’ve just reached 500 followers on Bloglovin+ and by this time next year I’d love to be able to double that number. Also, I’d like to continue to produce more content which I love!
Name one thing you want to do next year that you can tick off your bucket list. Travel. Next year I definitley want to travel to at least one new country or location. Amsterdam is definitley somewhere where I’d love to have visited by this time next year! Visiting London is also definitley on my to-do list.
What are you most looking forward to next year? Next year I’m really looking forward to my eighteenth birthday! I’m also looking forward to actually starting my driving lessons and possibly completing my driving test (something which I’ve been putting off doing for a long time now.)
Your happiest moment of 2016? There have been various different moments in 2016 which have brought me a lot of happiness! Going camping with my family in the summer, spending time with Jake, the day I reached 21,000 followers on Instagram! I couldn’t pin it down to just one specific moment if I’m honest,
What new years resolution are you actually planning on sticking to? Definitely getting more active, physically and socially! I really want to try and get myself more in shape next year, not necessarily lose weight but more just getting fitter and healthier than now.
A personal goal for next year: I’d say for next year my goal is to possibly try and work to double my monthly blog page views, if not my daily amount of page views. I’d also like to help myself get more ahead with my posts and try and ensure I have at least 2 blog posts written before I publish one, so that there’s always new content coming to my blog.
