Natural Monsters are the first class of Monsters encountered in My Singing Monsters, and inhabit most islands in the Monster World. They each have one or more of the five Natural Elements: Earth ( ), Cold ( ), Water ( ), Plant ( ), and Air ( ). On each Natural Island, only 4 of these elements can be found. Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % ( Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit. Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

The guide intentionally revealed the name and the appearance of Galvana, the July Celestial, before its release. The zoom slider was removed, opting instead for pinch-to-zoom gestures on Mobile, and the scroll wheel in the Steam version.This was formerly the case for Gobbleygourd, who mistakenly used to be part of the inventory for Barrb's vessel, before it was replaced by Gob. Natural quads don’t have a better combination without using a Rare other than Triple + Single. However Fire and Magical quads have an increased chance by using the same combination for Epic Kayna. When it was added to the game, its combination increased the chances of getting a Quad to make it harder to breed. This is the case even when Epic Kayna is not available. Any previous update will last several days before being unsupported and requiring the newest update. Mythical Monsters were originally only obtainable on PS Vita but are since Version 2.3.2 also available on Mobile (iOS and Android). They cannot be placed on Gold Island, and are only found on one Island each. As of Version 3.7.1, with the release of Mythical Island, Mythicals can teleport to there at level 15 and breed with the Cataliszt to make Dreamythicals.

If a chief accepts another player to join their Tribe almost immediately after request, they both will have to reload their games to see the new member's monster. However, the chief can place the new member's monster earlier than the new member can start feeding it. The pulsing of limited time Monsters was slowed down to make it easier to see undiscovered monsters. Supernatural Monsters are a special class of Monsters that include Wubbox and the Wublins, all of which manifest one element, Electricity ( ). These Monsters are special in that they require Monsters to be activated. Wubbox are activated by boxing Natural/Fire Monsters into them, and Wublins are activated by Zapping Monster eggs into them. The Wubbox on Ethereal Island is part of the exclusive Superethereal class due to requiring Ethereal Monsters to be boxed in. On 25th/26th February 2021, My Singing Monsters was revealed to become available on Steam soon for Windows players. Minimum operating system requirement is revealed to be Windows 8. Link.
