Team Blue-per and X-Blood each try to take control of the tower, and at the last second, Goggles takes control of the tower, making it Overtime. The Turf Wars have started in Inkopolis, and the team that inks the most ground will be crowned the winner! Goggles and Team Blue are ranked lower than their competitors. But with some teamwork and a touch of creativity, they might just leave their mark on this tournament! Team Blue has garnered attention after impressive showings against some of the most elite Inkling teams. But it'll only get harder from here! With the S4 Inklings aiming to bring down Goggles and his friends, the team must continue to find ways to improve, even if it means asking for help from the unlikeliest of sources! Many gears are being sold in Wahoo World as part of the best gear set contest, wherein the reward is a super-rare keychain. Team Blue is interested in the costume part, while Rider is forced to participate since he broke Aloha's keychain. Due to not wanting to be noticed by Team Blue fully, he opts to temporarily join a team while wearing his costume despite not bringing his weapon and his teammates. Unfortunately for him, he got matched against Team Blue in a match of Turf War. Power Armor, a male Inkling who wears the Inkling Squid set: the Power Mask, Power Armor and Power Boots.

Goggles is seen eating curry with Jellyfish in this issue. The battle takes place in Flounder Heights. Agents 3 and 3.5 and Cap'n Cuttlefish were taken by DJ Octavio, and the fight begins to save the Great Zapfish. While all hope seems to be lost due to being outnumbered, Agents 1 and 2 come in time to assist them. After defeating DJ Octavio, they decide to share the Zapfishes as the Octarians were running out of electricity.

A group of 2 yellow Inklings and an Octoling who are the antagonists of Sheldon's Adventure. They serve as the guardians of Sheldon's grandfather's treasure and test Goggles and Sheldon via one-on-one turf wars. Also, a fourth one, Hivemind, announced the Final Fest Splatfest in the manga. This is the second time Inklings are seen attempting to swim in water, this time being the Blue Team. Unlike in the actual game, they do not dissolve in water, but rather sink to the bottom. This is the first time the Blue Team was defeated on-screen. He also has the control of a must-hit in the work, except in episode 3 when he was avoided by a safari hat (actually an aloha in disguise). Later in the Haikara Square Arc and onward, its role is changed to Super Chakuchi, and it often super-jumps to an ally near an enemy to round them up.A supporting group of dark orange Inklings who hide their true faces and they have yet to show those faces to each other. A supporting group of dark blue ink-colored Inklings who tried to convince girls to join their practice, but only four boys show up. All members have the same "Buzz-Cut" hairstyle and wear the same clothing, being the Retro Gamer Jersey, as well as some sort of headband for headgear. They first appear in the third issue of this era, facing against Gloves' Team. Team New Emperor are against X-Blood. Squidkid Jr. makes a Power Clam but Double Egg splats him. X-Blood scores a goal but doesn't throw in any clams because Vintage says that Team New Emperor would never score a goal. But then Team New Emperor uses Kaiser Arrow to splat Double Egg and continues to use it. But soon they are surrounded and X-Blood uses X Fall. Team New Emperor were beaten by X Blood, unable to get a single Clam. Prinz cheers up Laceless afterwards and everyone gets ready for the next round.The stage used was Arowana Mall and the mode was Clam Blitz.Team Blue-per face off against X-Blood. The stage is Skipper Pavilion and the mode is Tower Control.

Goggles then says that they will not lose to Emperor, and he and Gloves' teams aim for the championships. It’s time for the Splatfest, a Turf War where teams must split up and battle against one another! Team Blue is divided into a “Funny Man” team versus a “Straight Man” team. Who will face who? A supporting group of midnight pink Inklings who strike cool and intensifying poses and appears in Chapter 36. They seem to struggle with exercise, but they enjoy practicing their poses. All members wear the Null Visor Replica and the Takoroka Rainbow Tie Dye, and they all use the Dapple Dualies. As they return to the Blue Team, Rider and Gloves compliment each other on their matches but they soon try to intimidate each other from the chance they meet in a battle. As the Blue Team get ready for their match, Goggles sees that all of the S4 are now in one team.
