For people who like watches that have a vintage look but who can’t afford the vintage inspired modern military and dive watches made by high-end boutique companies, Eaglemoss is ideal. One of the original 1950s Rolex MilSub watches, even in a very well used condition, can sell for tens of thousands of pounds. Fakes are easily obtained, but these days not so easily spotted, and many can fool even an experienced buyer. The French aviator with two working sub dials intrigued me, I was actually quite impressed as it had a proper if a little light steel bracelet to find that someone at the factory had forgotten to put the 1 numeral on the dial.
