Chapter 12.5 Chapter 12 Chapter 11 Chapter 10 Chapter 9 Chapter 8 Chapter 7 Chapter 6 Chapter 5 Chapter 4 Chapter 3 Chapter 2 Chapter 1 Aileen Lauren Dautriche's life changes forever on the day her engagement with the crown prince Cedric Jeanne Elmir is nullified so he can be together with Lilia Rainworth. The event triggers Aileen's memories from her past life—she has been reincarnated in an otome game as the villainess, who is destined to die in the final act. To prevent her predetermined demise, Aileen has only one option: to court the game's last boss, Claude Jeanne Elmir—the proclaimed "Demon King" and Cedric's half-brother—and marry him. I really enjoyed the overall cast, though that plot twist had me like "ummmm…" Yeah, definitely NOT liking that one character! :p But I am hyped for volume two! Actually, it's not clear at all how the story builds on or benefits from the premise. Why make her a villainess? Why reincarnate her? Why in a dating sim? Any one of those elements could have taken the story in an interesting direction if it had been treated as more than just isekai overhead. It's not difficult to imagine: an evil heiress gets dumped, tries to get even, and winds up fixing her life, and the kingdom, essentially out of spite. Or how about this: reborn into fantasy high society, an ordinary modern girl has to act the part of a notorious noblewoman or face destruction. As for being trapped in a dating sim — I mean, that one practically writes itself: it's funny when a normal person has to deal with stupid genre tropes. Unfortunately, the show delivers none of the above. Being acutely ill, a young girl has spent most of her life in a hospital room playing otome games to fill her time. However, she one day finds herself in the midst of a scene from one of these games as the story's villainess, Irene Loren D'Autriche.Art-wise, this show isn't the best. I still can't get used to the show's art style. In terms of animation, I'd say it is pretty good, with nothing particularly disappointing to mention. And the OP and ED are perfect for the show. I was already feeling them in the first episode of the show. The VAs should not be overlooked for how well they portray the characters to which they are assigned. At the banquet to celebrate the end of the academy's winter term, the crown prince and Irene's childhood friend, Cedric Jeanne Elmeier, publicly annuls his engagement with Irene and announces that he is in love with Lilia Rainworth, the game's female protagonist. Aware of the tragic future ahead of her and determined to change it, the young girl resolves to conquer the game's final boss, the "Demon King" and Cedric's half-brother, Claude Jeanne Elmeier, by making him fall in love with her instead. Part of the reason why I like this manga is that Aileen, even when she regains some of her memories from her past life, she's still prideful. Her motives is selfish even when it's good for the demons and people, which Aileen is upfront about. She's fun to watch, even if her actions are questionable. I also didnt like how once again the ‘heroine’ of the game turned into a two-face biatch. So cliche. Out of the Otome Game adaptations we've had so far, I really have to concede the fact that HameFura is the overall better handled show that we have

Although we have our usual setting of the isekaied otome player in the role of the villainess, trying to avoid the rad flags and, ultimately, her fate from the game, the turn the story takes is a little bit different, with the MC trying to get the help of the majestic, incredibily handsome, and lonely Demon King. She's witty, smart, and frank; she isn't afraid to state herI'm not going to lie I think the last chapter kind dragged. I don't really like the sudden we need torepair the demon castle plot, political stuff, economy... wha... idk it's like I'm not really interested in that. I want the romance and the trying to avoid the bad ending plot, but idk why they have to go in this weird direction like it's a light hearted comedy? manga we don't need to do this lol.

If the story didn't want to properly punish that, it shouldn't have included that scene in the first place. However, it is easier said than done, as Claude distrusts her intentions. Instead of giving up, Aileen adamantly tries to win his heart by helping Claude fulfill his wish: to build peace between humankind and demonic beasts. But time is running out, and it is up to Aileen to change the course of not only her tragic ending but Claude's as well.EditSynopsis Being acutely ill, a young girl has spent most of her life in a hospital room playing otome games to fill her time. However, she one day finds herself in the midst of a scene from one of these games as the story's villainess, Aileen Lauren Dautriche. Nice story, nice characters, nice art. It isn't long either, so it could be a good read for anyone, even if you don't like long manga. And for anyone who likes the villainess trope, this is a treat. Si je suis la vilaine autant mater le boss final est un manga que je m’étais acheté après avoir vu l’anime a sa sortie (fin 2022) et je me suis récemment dit qu’il était enfin temps de le sortir de ma PAL. Someone tries to rape the protagonist, either to force her to marry him, or to trigger Demon King Claude's transformation into a dragon. In any case, this act doesn't receive remotely adequate punishment.
