through the closed doors and although we didn’t hear it, the person beside us did, and told us where to get off the train. All Her Fault” is a rollercoaster of a story that was cleverly plotted and I enjoyed the book enough to know I’d be happy to read more by this author in the future. Hide and Seek, her second thriller to be published in the UK and internationally, became an instant top ten bestseller. Sive is in London with her husband and their three children for a reunion weekend with his former flat mates when she finds herself in a nightmare situation on the underground when she’s alone with the children and struggles to get through the crowd with the pram whilst her daughters go on ahead and end up leaving without her. I had to read this, as the story starts with every mother’s nightmare - your children are on a tube train, while you’re stuck on the platform watching them disappear into the tunnel 😱😱😱 And it stayed just as nail biting and gripping throughout!

I’ve read books by this author before so was really looking forward to this but found myself quite bored and skimmed through a lot of the pages. Her books are well-plotted mysteries, with lots of interesting characters and red herrings to keep you guessing until the last page.As news of the disappearance filters through the quiet Dublin suburb and an unexpected suspect is named, whispers start to spread the woman most closely connected to the shocking event. The Irvines, who are quite well off await a ransom demand that never comes and Marissa’s anguish is palpable.

While I’m always eager to read one of Andrea’s books, there’s always a little bit of me that’s nervous in case it’s not as good as the last one. The twists keep coming right to the end where I’m pleased to say one just dessert is most definitely served! Highly recommended if you like psychological thrillers or want to read something that is very well written. I think that's why I tend to gravitate toward police procedurals—they waste little time setting the state with bland physical and LinkedIn profile job descriptions and get right down to it. Andrea Mara knows how to tap into your deepest fears and creates such a feeling of suspense throughout this novel that you'll stay up long past your bedtime to finish it.

There are no plot holes, nothing is rushed, it's all just so perfectly timed out and explained to the reader and its actually the most satisfying thing I've ever encountered. As they’re about to get on the tube, the door closes leaving Sive with her baby boy on one side, and her two young daughters on the other, being quickly taken away on the train. As a result, it felt like watching a film with someone who repeatedly says "oh wait, here comes the good bit". Entre ellos, otros que se retrotraen en el tiempo hasta un margen de cinco meses atrás, que es cuando comenzaron a gestarse los hechos.

You are getting on the underground and suddenly the doors close with your children on the other side of the doors. I’d also definitely recommend this novel as an addictive summer read for mystery thriller readers of all ages. There are 2 timilines but it never gets blurry or muddy, and both are very relevant and compliment each other perfectly. Throw in a fictional background and a high-profile gangland criminal court case involving two notorious families, as news of a particular high profile court case breaks at home, and you’d be forgiven for wondering if author Andrea Mara has a mysterious sort of 20/20 future vision that makes her publication timing impeccable.Andrea Mara has a gift for turning 'what if' into 'uh-oh' - No One Saw a Thing is a fantastic example of her compelling plotting. Sure, that's every parent's worst nightmare, but to make matters worse, It quickly becomes clear this isn't just an ordinary missing child case. Al no ser este el caso y con semejante premeditación, me cuesta creer que los autores ni siquiera considerasen la otra opción que tenían, más sencilla y viable. This is very action-driven so we're spared the whiny inner-monologues that most thrillers these days can't seem to get away from.
